The chair contributes to improving international mobility and exchange by raising funds that ease the mobility of students and researchers. In addition, we contribute to the transfer of knowledge across countries.

Double degree program in European and International Economics
The chair is actively involved in the double degree program in European and International Economics (“Europäische und Internationale Wirtschaft”) of the Martin-Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg and the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Milan, Italy). The project runs since winter term 2010, for a long time led by Prof. Dr. em. Martin Klein; continued by Prof. Dr. Christoph Weiser from 2018 - April 2021. We contribute to both organization and teaching.

Exchange in the Bachelor Economics with the Turkish-German University Istanbul
Since the winter term 2021, the chair is involved in organizing the DAAD-YÖK-exchange in the Bachelor program Economics with the Turkish-German University Istanbul .

The students introduce linkages between the EU and the Republic of Türkiye. The presentation took place in December 2022 at Leucorea.
Projects enabling knowledge transfer
Master in International Finance at the Turkish-German University Istanbul
Establishment phase 3 of the master program in International Finance at the Turkish-German University in Istanbul . The project runs since 2016 (until 2018 under the lead of Prof. Dr. em. Martin Klein).
Project lead: Prof. Dr. Henning Rosenau. The chair (e.g., Dr. Tobias Weirowski) is involved in teaching as part of the program.

Capacity building project with universities in Africa
DIES project “Capacity-Building-MLU-AAU-GU“ (57449171)”, part of the program “DIES-Partnerschaften mit Hochschulen in Entwicklungsländern”. Joint project with Addis Ababa University , Ethiopia and Gulu University , Uganda.
